[100309] I’ve been wanting a industrial piercing for months now. Unfortunately I’m probably not going to get it for another 9 months in June 2010. But a Pro of waiting until June is seeing how bad I want this. If I still want it then, I’ll get it done for sure. If I don’t still want it then I can get another piercing that’s on my list. I also want to get my 3rd ear lobe piercing, tongue, & eyebrow. I already have 4 ear lob piercings (2 on each ear) and a nostril piercing which I got like 6 ½ weeks ago. That went really well and didn’t hurt at all. Although my eye started tearing up when my piercer was putting the jewelry in. I heard that’s a common reaction though. Well, I guess I’m done with my first entry :)

How I did it: I got it done late at night at a small studio in the city. My piercer used the bar, although I've heard that using two rings and later switching to the bar works for some folks. I would dare to say the procedure didn't hurt at all -- then again, I think my anxiety and apprehension after hearing about so many painful industrial experiences overwhelmed any physical pain I would've felt :P.It's been three months now, and I've run into some h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: At first I wasnt going to do it because I read tons of stories online about industrials gone bad and I was pretty terrified. After a while I just stopped thinking about it and went with my mom (I was 14 at the time). Pretty much the best decision Ive ever made. Well worth the pain. Its been 4 months and its pretty much healed. Yay! Read how I did it…

I got my helix pierced earlier this summer when I was told that my broken foot would keep me from riding my motorcycle for the rest of the season. I had been holding off on getting my industrial and helix piercings, because wearing my motorcycle helmet would irritate them.
I got my helix pierced first to make sure I could deal with a cartilage piercing. It didn’t hurt as bad as I had expected it to.
The helix piercing got infected one week after piercing, but after going to the doctor (and listening to them lecture me about how piercings are bad – yeah, don’t care!) I got some antibiotics and things were all set.
I want to go and get my industrial as soon as my helix is healed! I know the industrial will probably take longer to heal, but I have wanted this piercing for over a year!

I’ve wanted this piercing for awhile. I first saw it when I worked at Disney, and right then and there decided that I wanted that in my ear. I just never had the money, or the time, or the guts. But one day, my boyfriend (who has one already) and I were driving by a tattoo and piercing parlor and I had the money, and he said I should go for it. So I did.
The first hole was easy, the second made me jump a little bit, but it was totally worth it! I love it, and get complements on it all the time!

Just one week after getting my eyebrow done, I went back to the same place to get my Industrial. It was more painful, of course, but totally worth it in the end. Would do it again anytime!
I just have the two rings in for now, but once it’s healed up, I will get the bar put in (and I will post a new picture) :]
I’ve wanted this for so long! I went to a tattoo/piercing parlor yesterday with my boyfriend and decided to go ahead and check on the price. It turns out it will only be $35. I think I may get it done this weekend. I’m just reading some reviews on the pain factor.

I’ve been wanting an industrial piercing for a few years now. I started asking people who had them if it hurt, how their healing process was…you know, all the basic piercing research questions. I finally got up enough balls today to do it. So far I love it. Hurt like hell and my ear is still kind of throbbing 2 hours later, but I’m still glad I did it and I’m looking forward to when it’s finished healing.
