How I did it: I got it done late at night at a small studio in the city. My piercer used the bar, although I've heard that using two rings and later switching to the bar works for some folks. I would dare to say the procedure didn't hurt at all -- then again, I think my anxiety and apprehension after hearing about so many painful industrial experiences overwhelmed any physical pain I would've felt :P. It's been three months now, and although I love my … Read how I did it…
How I did it: At first I wasnt going to do it because I read tons of stories online about industrials gone bad and I was pretty terrified. After a while I just stopped thinking about it and went with my mom (I was 14 at the time). Pretty much the best decision Ive ever made. Well worth the pain. Its been 4 months and its pretty much healed. Yay! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went to my piercer and I also got a rook on the opposite ear at the same time. It hurt for about 6 seconds while each hole was made then it had a bit of a burning sensation afterwards. Not too extreme, I took some tylenol over the next couple days and it made it 110% bearable. I love it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, I went to a well known tattoo and piercing place. And within three minutes it was paid for and done. It throbbed a little bit, but it was good within a couple of hours. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I asked my mom if I could have an industrial piercing in my ear. first she just rolled her eyes and said no. but when I showed her how it looks like, and how it's done, she agreed and said yes. I called the tattoo & piercing 'clinic' [tattoo og skart, it's in Iceland] and asked when I could come and get it done. she said that I could come when ever I wanted, so I decided that 5 days would be enough for me to wait. those 5 days were ju… Read how I did it…

I’ve wanted this piercing for awhile. I first saw it when I worked at Disney, and right then and there decided that I wanted that in my ear. I just never had the money, or the time, or the guts. But one day, my boyfriend (who has one already) and I were driving by a tattoo and piercing parlor and I had the money, and he said I should go for it. So I did.
The first hole was easy, the second made me jump a little bit, but it was totally worth it! I love it, and get complements on it all the time!
XxRicaxX assumes and hopes.
Just one week after getting my eyebrow done, I went back to the same place to get my Industrial. It was more painful, of course, but totally worth it in the end. Would do it again anytime!
I just have the two rings in for now, but once it’s healed up, I will get the bar put in (and I will post a new picture) :]
I’ve wanted this for so long! I went to a tattoo/piercing parlor yesterday with my boyfriend and decided to go ahead and check on the price. It turns out it will only be $35. I think I may get it done this weekend. I’m just reading some reviews on the pain factor.

I’ve been wanting an industrial piercing for a few years now. I started asking people who had them if it hurt, how their healing process was…you know, all the basic piercing research questions. I finally got up enough balls today to do it. So far I love it. Hurt like hell and my ear is still kind of throbbing 2 hours later, but I’m still glad I did it and I’m looking forward to when it’s finished healing.
i rly want it done. but i think to many people dont do research before they try and get a piercing.
My friend was getting her belly button

I was like ok and I told her I would think
About it. I called her up and told her I wanted

I really want one because they also seem incredibly awesome and worth it. My friend’s older sister has one, and when I saw hers it was the first one that I’d ever seen. I hadn’t heard of it before then actually. I knew at that moment that I was going to get one eventually, ahahah.
I plan on it for my sixteenth birthday, because that is once you actually can, but I don’t know how receptive the ‘rents will be. It’s definitely not one of those things I’d get behind their backs either so.
I tried to explain it to my dad once none too long ago, and he looked horrified. But he is letting me get my inner conch done tomorrow, so maybe in a year I will get it! (My 16th birthday will be November 2009).
Or maybe for Christmas. I don’t know.
But I will one day.
I absolutely will!
