The two pictures I bought on hilday have been hung up in the dining room. All the other pictures I have ave to be framed first.

    Getting started 23 months ago

I got a few up and it felt so good – didn’t need to wait for help. Now just need to buy some hardware for my other frames. Think I’d better strike while the iron’s hot.

I'm marking this as finished! 2 years ago

there are probably still more pictures to hang, but I am finished for now. I will have to do more when my husband finishes framing some things, but most of those will just lean and not hang from the picture rails. yay!!!

I put up a few more 2 years ago

but I still have several to go and I don’t have much time left on my challenge! I will have to get busy after I run errands today!

I am slowly but surely getting this done 2 years ago

I guess I thought this would be easy, but the house I live in now has 12 foot ceilings downstairs and 11 foot ceilings upstairs. the landlord has hanging hardware on the picture rails almost at the top of the walls (very close to the ceilings). there is so much measuring of the wire and going up and down the ladder to get things straight. tonight I put up only 2 new paintings (and moved one to a different location), but I also put some antiques above the kitchen cabinets and there are 2 paintings used in that. I feel pretty good about what I did today, but man, my feet and knees hurt. I am hoping to get most things in their places by next weekend when my brother and his wife come to stay here.

Pictures are Hung 2 years ago

None of the walls that shouldn’t be are bare. I know how to get my mats cut. I’m confident that this part of my ongoing experience.

Fabulous Foto Framed 2 years ago

So after all the energy I put into the mat-it-yourself project, I found I could get Ben Franklin to cut me a perfect mat for 10 bucks. Now I have a lovely setting for the photo of the loading dock.

I am going to swap out the Kandinsky print from its better frame and put the photo in there.

    Finally 2 years ago

Settled on hanging the Amsterdam photo in the kitchen.

    Yet Another 2 years ago

Ordered another poster print from snapfish This one is a size bigger and the “warned” me that it the photo resolution might not be fine enough for the size, but I took the risk.

I’ll probably go frame shopping on Friday and find out if they can cut a mat for me on-site at Ben Franklin.

    Not Happy 2 years ago

I need to buy a better frame for the bookstore photo. The one I got is not heavy enough. It’s basically a poster frame with a plastic cover. The picture really deserves more weight and non-glare glass to make it look really great.

And it’s hanging on the wall by the front window, not over the couch or the fireplace.
