learn about different religions

i was raised in the methodist church. my parents always made me go to church, but we arent the most religious family. i feel like we do it more so that people see us there as a family. as my dad likes to say. im 18 and i hate the fact that they still make me go or i get shunned for the whole day. ive been looking at other things, and i find of am feeling that im agnostic. i went to a bible study group for six years and i never really felt that i was a true christian. i dont really believe that there is some all knowing guy up there. if you want to see something interesting about religion then watch the zeitgeist movie. www.zeitgeist.com. it offers new ideas about things.

My friend Lorena gave me a bible last summer, and I really wanted to read it to find out what she’s so happy about all the time. I got midway through the old testament and fizzled out. I want to read the bible and also tracts of other religions. I would like to become well-versed in religion and spirituality.
