    I did the silly nautilus machines—have to hit the free weights soon! Also about 10 minutes on bike before switching to the elliptical for 35 minutes. I felt exhilarated when I left on my shaky legs.

    Yay - good for me 23 months ago

    I’ve been staying indoors but getting exercise nonetheless. This year so far I have done yoga, swam laps, used nautilus and cardio machines each week. I would like to increase the swimming. I went yesterday and want to go again tomorrow. It feels so good to me to swim in the wintertime then hit the sauna for 10 minutes afterward.

    Back at it 23 months ago

    I returned to the gym tonight after the holiday hustle. It was pretty crowded with all those New Year’s resolution exercisers! But I managed to do a few weights and hit my favorite machine – the elliptical. My dd would like me to run with her a bit this spring. I told her I thought I could manage a run/walk program as long as it is not too crazy.

    I’m doing well with this. Yesterday I went on the elliptical machine for 35 minutes. Today I went to a Pilates class for the first time in years. Variety keeps me interested.

    Soccer season is over, so we went to the gym 2 years ago

    My daughter and I spent some time on the old cardio machines tonight. We have made a vow to workout together 3 times a week this winter. I really love the elliptical machines, but the stairmaster thingy kicks my butt.

    Swimming 2 years ago

    I swam today for the first time in 2 weeks. It felt pretty good. I am going back again on Friday morning.

    Haven't written on this lately but 2 years ago

    I swam last week and plan to do so tomorrow morning also. I decided to keep my current gym membership rather than switching, as I want to try swimming on their master’s team.

    Now that summer is winding down, I will be hitting the elliptical machine and the weight room. I always hate being indoors when it is nice out!

    Thinking about switching my gym membership 2 years ago

    My college alumni membership allows use of the weight room, pool, track etc. for myself and my family for about half the cost of my current gym. Plus it is only 5 minutes from my house – nice facilities too.

    Work outs 2 years ago

    I need to jump start my motivation. I plan to go the gym 3x a week in January and February. I like the elliptical, the weights and the pool most. I am downloading songs to my mp3 player now, so I can jam.
