How I did it: it was christmas time and there were these amazing lights on the rathaus and this amazing music and bubble machines in the square at nights, also by day they were selling hot wine on the street, absinthe is so cheap in reastaurants, and I have bought maybe 30 CDs in 6 days, every single one less than 10 euros, and not a single one of them can be found in istanbul. so go christmas time, and if youre from a place where CDs are expensive and hard to find, make sure you buy CDs.

    I want to go to Belgium because that is where my mother’s parents are from. She grew up in a Belgian neighborhood next to the Italian neighborhood in Mishawaka, IN. My mother did not teach me much of this heritage. I recently met my second cousin who lives 15 minutes from me. His mother Louise did a family geneology book she let me copy.

    even though I don’t drink anything and have promised myself that I will never do this there is no drinking age in bELGIUM

    i WENT THERE FOR A FORIEGN EXCHANGE PROGRAM AND i GOT TO LIVE THER FOR A MONTH

    Make sure that you learn a little bit or french before you go unlike I did

    I was lost without the host family which spoke english!! :)
