How I did it: I took a 4 course series classes on liability claims handling and property loss adjusting over the past year. At the conclusion of each course, I took a multiple choice test in which I needed a 70 in order to pass. Once I completed my last test, I was awarded my AIC designation. Last week I passed my third AIC exam. Of course I waited until the absolute last minute to begin studying, but luckily enough I already knew the majority of the material. AIC 36 was definitely the hardest so far for me, but when I looked back at my scoring chart I did better than I thought.
I was so amped after the test was over that I went ahead and signed up for AIC 35 for next month. Now that there is only one exam left, I just want to get it over with. 2 years ago

This stands for Associate In Claims and is for the claims professional or anyone in the Property Casualty insurance field who wants to broaden their knowledge of the claims arena.
I have only two more courses, four total, that I need to complete my AIC. The AIC courses are much easier than CPCU and when I finish the AIC I will be allowed to waive one of the CPCU courses. 4 years ago
