Have a 24 hour movie marathon

Got my list, got my movies, all i need is time

a year to catch up on all the movies I would like to see but didn’t take the time for during the year. Maybe turn it into a slumber party!

I got the idea for this goal when I read an article in which Eli Roth talked about planning a 24 hour horror movie marathon. It was a pretty good article, acknowledging the different moods you’ll be in at certain points and how to work with them through different types/styles of films. I’d lovelovelove to do this one day, but I’m going to plan it out carefully, maybe work with a theme?

I’ve done this twice, @ a movie theatre as a part of a charity for Pendrickton Center for Blind Children. I raised about $100 each time and got to see 24 hours of both good and crappy movies. It’s rough, the second time I had a friend with me. The first time, I remember the last movie I was in I saw people in there with sleeping bags and pillows. So unfair! I started at 6am the first time and 10am the second. Would love to do it again but it’s hard to get out of work for this. Will do it again some day.
