I cut off over 14inches for locks of love and ended up with hair about chin length. Great cause btw. Now I’m going for super long, super shiny hair down to my butt!

i feel that your hair says alot about you and if you take the time to grow it you can take the time to do bigger and better things
Hi everybody!
my hair grows really fast. and ive been trying out all kindsa hairstyles. now my hair is realllll long , so thick n beautiful. yes it needs lotta hair care & conditioning. now its just 1’ inch close to my butt yeehoo..
i took care right from oil application, selecting a mild shampoo & conditioner, monthly hair spa or oil massages. its really worth it. but wat happens is long hair makes people look older so i just took the crown part and got a layered cut and the back portion is long! luks gorgeous.
try trimming your hair & cut those split ends every month. ur hair grows faster.
u can register yourself in Orkut.com and join long hair / hair care communities , u can get a lot of tips and information.
dont use hair dryers or rods it only spoils ur hair and u end up loosing it. if ur going tint your hair select a herbal / or any other company that has less chemicals.
if its hairfall it even depends on the kind of food you are eating. so if sumthng didnt workout may be you shud try to find the answer where you went wrong. but believe me my hair was reaaal dry and its amazingly smooth as silk.
hair is an asset , treat it with care and luv.
you will luv the xperience too!
It drives me nuts after a certain length. After making several donations to Locks of Love and having my hair past my elbows down to my waist, I don’t think I need to grow my hair to my bum anymore. It’s not worth it to me.
I cut it again for Locks of Love. But it was past my elbows again and to the top of my waistband, if not a little longer. I have yet to be able to sit on my hair. I think I want to abandon this goal because it’s just not worth it really.

I had long, long hair for several years: not quite long enough to sit on, but past my hips. I cut it in April 2004. Having long hair wasn’t actually much trouble, once it was past my shoulder blades. I only had to wash it every other day, and I could put it up out of my way with no effort. It took longer to wash, and much longer to dry, but I could put it up while it was wet and not worry about it.
People I barely knew kept asking me when I was going to cut it, but my friends and family (and husband) loved it. I developed a respectable collection of hair sticks to add variety.
Moral of the story? If you want long hair, grow it out. Then cut it when YOU feel like it. :)
I switched shampoos today since the Pantene Smooth and Sleek ran out. It made all the difference in the world. My hair is squeaky clean tonight because I went back to my favorite, Bain de Terre Daily Meadow shampoo. (‘Quotidien Champu’ in Francais, which makes me laugh. Quotidien shampoo!)
I think if my hair stops being so dried out, I might be able to handle it for an extra month. Now that March 1st is less than a month away, I just might wait to cut it and see if I can’t get it a tad longer. I waffle because there are days when I love it, and days when I hate it this long.
It’s down to my waist. It’s lovely. Really, but I’m sick of it. 2 more months to go and March 1st, it’s gone!
What I’ve also noticed is that my vacuum has a lot of hair around the brush rollers. I had to hack off massive amounts of hair when I realized what that burning smell was when I ran it. Then I realized that it’s probably all over the wheels of my desk chair.
Yes, it was rather embarrassing this weekend to visit my friend’s new home furnishing store in Baltimore, lay down on the nice cream colored display mattress and then leave hair all over it for the nice shop staff to clean up.
Yes, I cannot wait to cut this stuff off!
March 1st. Either way. I’m going to cut my hair. My sister will probably cut hers then as well. I’m going to try and convince her to give her hair to Locks of Love because that’s what I’m going to do.
I’m going to flag this as not worth doing. It really hasn’t been worth it. I’m vain and all, but it isn’t really worth the extra expensive of shampoo, conditioner, styling products I’ve never had to use before, and all that icky hair all over my apartment and clogging the drain.
