The best games ever

FFIV was so much more enjoyable than FFV! It also has the only final boss that I’ve ever beaten on my first try, I think. Edge was dead, but I didn’t feel like wasting Rosa’s turn on Life2 instead of Cure4.
Next I will be moving onto the elusive FFIII. I can’t decide if I ought to play Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest or not, because everyone seems to think it’s really insulting and obnoxious, but we’ll see.
I’ve had an unfinished game of FFV saved on my computer for several months now. It’s typical of me to get to the end of an RPG and stop playing when I’ve run out of things to do apart from the final battle. However, this is usually for a week, tops, and it’s also usually because I do not want the game to end.
In FFV’s case, it’s because I got sick of trying to master jobs. I am a completist, and part of me wants every single character to master every single job. I recognise that this is ridiculous, even fighting RockStatues over and over. Every time I open the game, I fight RockStatues for about twenty minutes, and it’s so boring that I can’t be bothered to continue. Still, I know I have to level up before I finish the game.
Now months have passed, and I only have a vague recollection of what was going on in the game when I got too irritated with levelling up to carry on.
There’s also the fact that this is probably the most difficult FF I’ve played. I shudder to think what the Cleft of Dimension will be like.
