make a positive difference in the world

The good thing about this website is it reminds me of old goals I had forgotten about. So here is something I should not forget to do. Use my soon-to-be skills in languages such as Swahili to establish (an) educational institution(s) in Africa, and train Westerners in the language so they can work in this area as well.

Doing something like that is more important than the token leadership positions etc that things like the Rhodes Scholarship demands.

It doesn’t have to mean turning the world on its head. I’m doing some volunteer and fundraising work at the moment, but there’s always room for more.

Because i think that’s what we are all here to do. It would be such a waste of my life not to have tried every day to make my own life and someone elses life just that little bit better. I truly believe that life is what we make of it. This website is one of the easiest ways to show someone you care, so my first point of action will be to come on here more often and do just that!
