it’s nothing spectacular. i mean everyone thinks its cute. but i guess im just used to it. i’ve had it all my life. obviously my house is ancient lol. but if it’s what you want i say go for it!
It was porcelain covered cast iron, it kept the water nice and hot. And it was so deep!
If anyone knows of a salvage yard, or is looking to get rid of a clawfoot tub I am very interested. I am in the NYC area.
I have 2 original claw foot tubs sitting in my garage, waiting for the trash man to take them. I already have 1 in my home, was going to put the other 2 in, in the existing bathrooms, but never got around to it.
Lucky is working =0P
I want to take it with me if I move…..
The only thing is that I don’t have a shower. I kind of miss five minute scrub and runs.
yakuza who has missed me?
A few annoyances that I have had to deal with is I had to buy two shower curtains for it and a bath shelf. However, I think it’s worth it.
It’s a nice tub. Has four claw feet. Yep. That’s a claw-foot tub, all right.
