    *I live near (not actually in) a teeny-tiny city...* 1 week ago

    which has a mayor and four city council members. I want to run for city council really, really bad. :-)

    However, I live in a town exactly one mile outside the city limits, which prevents me from doing so. My town does not have a mayor, council, etc. However, it has its own zip code, post office, etc. I do not know a lot about the rules that go along with this, but I’m super sad about it all.
