Well I actually already wished Dharma a Happy “Early” Birthday the day before her birthday, but I had planned on coming here to wish her a Happy Birthday on 43Things where she has made many friends, created much laughter and been an inspiration. So here I am a day late, but here nevertheless. _{actually this is the second posting cuz I lost the first!! aaargh when will I learn?}

What can I say, Dharma has been my best friend for the better part of my life and I don’t only mean “time” but her friendship has made my life better! I know how very fortunate I am to call her friend, and to take a quote from Jack Nicholson in As Good as It Gets “She makes me want to be a better person”.

I wish I was there to share her day with her and I hope it was lovely and full of happy memories and the love of her family. She is an amazing person and if anyone deserves a good year it’s her, I hope this one is a good one full of new hope on the horizon and that good fortune smiles upon her.

I raise my glass to you Dharma _{and turn the other cheek}
