chococluster is resting the mind
but I don’t want to tag this “DONE” yet… I’ll let it sit in my list for a while longer.
I went to Klamath, CA. for my vacation last Wednesday and stayed there for 2 days and 3 nights. For 2 days, I was merrily hiking and riding my bike all over Prarie Creek Redwood National Park. I was among the Redwood trees and they are magnificent.
I hiked alone… When I was in the thick of the woods, I wish someone went with me. It would have been more lovely, and lively. I made it through a few trails without looking at the map, that was more satisfying. I walked slowly and in sections, so I can admire each phase and turn, that seem to have distinct areas.
To cycle around is better than zooming about in a car. On a bicycle, one can notice trails clearly and it certainly is true that one can notice that each tree is different. I walked in each trail I found, as far as I can go walking my bike. By the way, it rained on me the first day in the thick of the woods. I felt being watched and at the same time protected by these humungous trees.
