but I feel like a bit of a cheat because it didn’t really work the way I had wanted it to.
Well, anyway I got all of my coursework finished, it just took way more time than it should have. So I guess the point of this goal (get my homework done) is, well… done.

It’s just straight hard work from here on in.
Will be finished exams by Thursday – can’t WAIT!

This is really not working.
Or I’m not doing it properly. Gee, ya think?! I have a big writing assignment as well as a take-home final exam to do, and how did I spend my day today? Yes, you guessed it – I recaulked the bathtub. :-(
It looks much better. The downside is, now I can’t take a shower for 24 hours. AND I still have all this studying to do… Sometimes I wonder about myself, truly I do.

whether 43T is procrastinating or goofing off... there’s a fine line, and I can’t seem to find it.
So – today is going to be an “hour on – hour off” day. It’s already 1pm and I haven’t accomplished anything, other than drinking some decaf and having breakfast. ...And using up all of today’s cheers on 43T :-D
First “hour on” will be French, because it’s pretty easy (which means I’ll be able to get started promptly).

Well, I have been deliberately goofing off and procrastinating, both… Mostly procrastinating today.
In the spirit of this goal I will spend the next 2 hours goofing off, not procrastinating, and then hopefully get down to work for 2 hours.
And after that I have an employment dilemma to consider.

1) go to a jazz club
2) go to a symphony (maybe in November)
3) see a naturopath
4) make a dentist appointment
5) go out for a nice dinner
6) introduce my boyfriend to one of my friends
7) do all the reading for history class which I should have been doing for the past 2 weeks (AND next week’s reading too!)

I have 2 midterms coming up on Monday, and I have just taken 2 days off. I think I might be swinging too far in the other direction now… lazy!
I have gotten a little bit done, but only the really easy stuff.

First week of this went quite well, but I didn’t have many assignments due that week either.
The second week was more mixed. Again I had only 1 assignment, but lots of reading. (I had hoped to get a bit of a head start on next week’s stuff, but no.)
I didn’t do much fun stuff this past week, but I was able to get a LOT of errands done, including doctor and optometrist visits. And my house is cleaner than usual too.
Anyway, this method is better than just staring at my computer, procrastinating. So far so good.
Let the countdown begin! Only 8 weeks left.

I have been practically housebound, week after week this semester. And it’s self-inflicted.
My perception is that I have so much homework that I can’t afford to waste time on other stuff. But I’m sure my brain would work more efficiently if I got off my ass and went for a walk instead of sitting here thinking about all the stuff I “should” be doing.
Today’s my birthday, so I’m technically taking the day off (although I will try to finish reading the novel for Lit class this evening – but I’m NOT going to analyse it!) Ha.
