I’ve been eating better, taking vegetarian enzymes and hiking for two weeks now and I still feel bloated. I told my Dad how before I slipped up for about a month and gained the weight back, it had come off so easily- in only two or three weeks and how suprised I was that it didn’t take very long at all. But this time it seems like I’m working hard and not seeing results. He said that it’s because I didn’t expect it before but this time I am. I think he is right. I’m just going to “keep on keepin on,” as my mother likes to say. I think that it helps me to write down what I eat. Also I would like to start taking raw coconut oil in the morning and night because I’ve heard that it helps with weight loss and is excellent for the body in many other ways as well. I need to up my water. I’m remembering now that when I lost 12lbs a couple months ago, I was constantly drinking tea and was eating pretty much every meal with salad. Right now I would just love to loose that 10lbs again. Its the 10lbs that really counts on me. Without it, I feel good about myself and comfortable, unbloated. With it, I feel insecure about my double chin, belly and hips, I feel bloated, and am uncomfortable in my clothes. So if I just keep on hiking 10hrs a week and keep on eating healthy and try to write down what I eat often, have more tea and water, and continue to supplement with digestive enzymes and coconut oil, I can almost guarantee myself that in a month I will loose that 10lbs and feel a whole lot better.

I lost down to 160 and then gained back up to 170 by eating wrong and not exercising. I am still going to do this though.

Tomorrow is my weigh in- I don’t expect a difference because I slipped quite a few times on my eating habits and didn’t work out through the beginning of the week. I feel great, really feeling the ten lb loss, but I don’t feel like I’ve lost any more than that. I went to the doctor yesterday and their scale weighed me in a 172.4. Thats like a 7lb difference, so I guess that means that even though I started with my scale weighing me at 176, I was probably in actuality more like 183. Whew! That is too heavy for a 5’2’’ person. But I am taking responsibility and recovering and looking and feeling awesome! My figure is back and I feel sexy for my new boyfriend. I thought it would take more like 3 months to see myself this way again, but hiking ten hours a week and making my food choices based on raw food first, and drinking huge teas when I would normally snack—all that combined is just melting this weight off. I’m having fun and getting hit on and stared at everywhere I go!!

I weigh tomorrow. It would be nice to have at least lost a couple lbs or even one lb. Even though I’m exercising and eating right, I don’t yet feel thinner. How long has it been though? Only a couple of weeks.

I dreamt of buying chocolate last night. Chocolate sounds good right now… chocolate and coffee. Good thing I’m broke or I’d go out and get it.

I am just going to make a big old tea. I am pouty about it though, because I’m out of any kind of milk and usually my tea is made with half water, half soy or almond or rice milk. I don’t even have any dried creamer. :-( It’s not the same!

I looked at my backside in some double mirrors the other day and was frustrated with the rolls on my back. In my whole life, I have never gotten rid of them. My rib cage/waist is just so tiny, so thats just the way that fat sits on it. I am determinded to see my back without them some day this year! I’ve got a fabulously awesome figure…I refuse to waste it!!!

I’m doing fabulous with this! I think the count is still at 6/50lbs lost. I have succeeded in sticking to my goals with food as well as my goal to go on long walks with the dogs regularly. I don’t feel any different in my body this week, but I know I’m on the right track.

Today was Friday, so I weighed. 169. So no change. I feel tired and uncomfortable with my size, which is contrast to how I have been feeling recently. I am not discouraged though. Moods come and go. Plateaus come and go too, if you just keep on keeping on.

I’ve hiked of total of 8 hours this week and I plan on going again tomorrow.

I can do this!

I’ve lost 6/50lbs. That’s 12%!

I feel great!

I have kept up my exercise this week and have written down everything I eat. I haven’t been eating as raw as intended, but shooting for raw has made the things that I do eat very healthy choices. I no longer have cravings for chocolate or sweets or coffee. I switched to tea and it really helps to drink that when I would in the past have chosen to snack.

The book that helped me get on this track is called Shrink Yourself and I haven’t picked it back up in the last three weeks but the things that I’ve learned from it so far have been sinking in and have become very helpful, especially the lesson of letting myself feel my feelings instead of going for food to assuage them with a vacation from myself.

I weigh tomorrow and I am not expecting it to be any different than last week, as I did eat more cooked foods than intended since I ran out of groceries and grocery money for awhile and had to rely on cooked frozen foods in my freezer. And also because I suspect that the 6 hours of hiking and the hard core cleaning I’ve done this week including steam cleaning have added some muscle weight to my body. Also I have become dehydrated, so I probably have some water retention and toxicity going on currently.

But! I feel great! My outlook is positive, I’ve been very active, and my waist feels less pudgy in the back.

I am doing really really well with being mindful of what I eat, and documenting everything I eat under the goal title of “go raw.”

I ran out of some of my favorite raw foods and I am waiting on some money before going to the grocery store. So I had two all-cooked meals today but they were made up of pretty healthy things.

I have not exercised regularly yet, but I did join a hiking group and we hiked for two hours today with the dogs. Perhaps I just need to find new locations for hiking because I think I have become turned off to the same old trails that I’m used to.

I haven’t felt any thinner in the last few days, I think I’ve been sleeping too much and not drinking enough water.
