inform people about female genital mutilation (FGM) and get people to sign the petition against it

I never knew about this until a few months ago, and was shocked ever since. It is so unknown about but I find it so hard to talk about, it makes me feel weird inside. I feel this is one of the worst crimes in the world. I dont know what to do about it. Is their a charity or petition (for the uk) i can be a part of?

google “female genital mutilation for more info (i had no idea this disturbing and vile practice even existed (and how about 80- 95% of woman in many african countries are subjected to this barbaric, unnatural and inhumane act (rarely with anaesthetic and often simply done with broken glass :S) until i saw a 43tr’s goal to “end FGM” so hopefully i can spread the word more :D together we can end this!!
