My boyfriend’s cousin and his girlfriend are big lacrosse kids, and they really make me want to get back into a sport! I’m really competitive but I live in the south… Where there is absolutely no where to learn the sport. I’m going to college next year, so I might be able to find it as an intermural sport and learn then. Oh well… I just really want to use my competitive drive for something good.

So this one might have quite a bit to do with a certain lacrosse-playing boy I want to kiss on the lips. =) It is a serious ambition, though. I don’t have any delusions of becoming a great lacrosse player, but when I watched his game last Friday, it looked like so much fun, and I thought I’d finally seen a sport I could be decent at and enjoy. A friend of mine from junior high shares my hatred of all things P.E.-related and is on the lacrosse team, I ought to ask her for a few lessons.

A lot of my friends play lacrosse and I want to, too. I start 1 on 1 lessons with my High School’s varsity coach on monday. Wish me luck!
