I kind of think it’s not really my kind of place, but I really want to see it for myself anyway. I want to see those Bellagio fountains for sure.
How I did it: On holiday with my other half. We stayed at the very lovely, and very well located Mirage in the middle of the Strip. Stay in a hotel either in the centre or southern end of the Strip as there's a lot of development going at the northern end and it's a bit dead. Take lots of cash - as there's no point going there and not being able to participate in everything that's going on; take in all of the free shows; and just enjo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: After a 10 day road trip sleeping in an RV me and my buddies spent 3 nights at the MGM Signature enjoying all of the luxuries that Vegas has to offer. If you are going to do it, do it properly or not at all.I saved a stack of cash that was completely separate from all other expenses. This money was for the sole purpose of gambling and enjoying myself in casinos. I got on the plane already comfortable with the idea that I would never see th… Read how I did it…

I watched Godfather Part 2 this weekend and was, once again, blown away by footage of Las Vegas. I would love to visit Vegas and get married dressed as Audrey Hepburn with my lovely fiance as Elvis!

Wow. That’s all I can say. I didnt expect to like it as much as did, but what can I say, it’s Disneyland for adults and you can’t help but be dazzled by it. Great good, shopping, free drinks, fun themed hotels, theme parks, gambling, amazing shows and entertainment, beautiful hot sunny days, great nightclubs, straight forward efficient transport, everything you could possibly want is all there on one convenient strip. My favourite city in the world, theres so much I still want to see and do I can’t wait to go back.
I’ve been tossing this idea around with my friends for years. Those who have been before want to go back. Maybe I’ll get my tattoo there…

Just got back from Vegas last night. It’s a fascinating city. The Bellagio was my favorite hotel and I loved the water show. We stayed at the Mirage—it was very nice and the pool was awesome. Vegas was a lot more beautiful than I expected, and The Strip was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The heat didn’t bother me too much since the dryness makes your sweat work the way it’s supposed to. The casinos were noisy but beautiful in their own way. Saw two Cirque de Soliel shows (Ka was my favorite). The Liberace Museum was a hoot. I wasn’t too fond of how overpriced everything was and it was pretty hard to find your way around (I was amazed at how everything was designed to keep you in the casinos as long as possible). Otherwise, very fun and I plan to go back in a couple of years.
The best place i have visited!! got married in a drive-thru wedding (very classy i know) the best thing i have ever done!! will be going back for christmas!!
didn’t love the 110 degree heat yesterday, but loved nearly everything else. I think my favorite place in all of Vegas was The Wynn. Absolutely classy and gorgeous. Alas, I lost on the tables, but had a lot of fun.

My husband and I are going for a long weekend in August! I hope the heat and dryness don’t kill me!
