How to visit Las Vegas
It made me
rethink my life
 "It was liberating and eye-opening."
How I did it: This trip was probably the most exciting thing I've ever done. I went with a two of my friends and stayed at the lovely Mirage hotel. There was no set agenda and the three of us just took off and let the city swallow us up. I did not get to see everything, but what I saw was amazing! I saw palm trees for the first time. I saw dolphins and tigers...Elvis and Hendrix, I saw a grown man pole dance on a train. I walked around drunk, laughing hysterically and nobody cared! Probably on the second day there I knew I would never look at my life the same way again. I want more bright lights and partying...more fun and more excitement. How I did it: I really enjoyed visiting Las Vegas. I went Aug. 14-21, 2009. The casinos were great. I ate great food, especially a lot of Mexican food at places like Dos Caminos in The Palazzo. I went in search of the shi shi rich people's houses just outside of Vegas in Henderson and I went to a famous vegan donut shop with my vegan sister. For example, don’t use the ATMs because the fees are high. Take out a lot of cash and use the safe in the hotel. Don’t visit Hoover Dam- very boring. Visit the casinos earlier in the day if you want to avoid the oppressive cigarette smoke.

I watched Godfather Part 2 this weekend and was, once again, blown away by footage of Las Vegas. I would love to visit Vegas and get married dressed as Audrey Hepburn with my lovely fiance as Elvis!

Wow. That’s all I can say. I didnt expect to like it as much as did, but what can I say, it’s Disneyland for adults and you can’t help but be dazzled by it. Great good, shopping, free drinks, fun themed hotels, theme parks, gambling, amazing shows and entertainment, beautiful hot sunny days, great nightclubs, straight forward efficient transport, everything you could possibly want is all there on one convenient strip. My favourite city in the world, theres so much I still want to see and do I can’t wait to go back.
I’ve been tossing this idea around with my friends for years. Those who have been before want to go back. Maybe I’ll get my tattoo there…

Just got back from Vegas last night. It’s a fascinating city. The Bellagio was my favorite hotel and I loved the water show. We stayed at the Mirage—it was very nice and the pool was awesome. Vegas was a lot more beautiful than I expected, and The Strip was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The heat didn’t bother me too much since the dryness makes your sweat work the way it’s supposed to. The casinos were noisy but beautiful in their own way. Saw two Cirque de Soliel shows (Ka was my favorite). The Liberace Museum was a hoot. I wasn’t too fond of how overpriced everything was and it was pretty hard to find your way around (I was amazed at how everything was designed to keep you in the casinos as long as possible). Otherwise, very fun and I plan to go back in a couple of years.
The best place i have visited!! got married in a drive-thru wedding (very classy i know) the best thing i have ever done!! will be going back for christmas!!
