My family stayed there when I was a kid. We were on a family vacation to Disneyland, and stayed overnight at the Frontier Hotel/Casino. It was pretty cool. I remember my parents did some gambling, and I hung out in the game room playing either Asteroids or Space Invaders.
I’ve been there several times since, but mainly just driving through. The last major stays were in Summer of 2000 to hang out with high school friends, and a teaching conference in 2010.
If you like to gamble, or eat at what were once cheap buffets, this is the place for you. 4 months ago

How I did it: Went with my cousins and some of their friends...traveled by car...they bought a package online for a room at the Flamingo and VIP entrance to two clubs at the Venettian and split the costs. Read how I did it… 4 months ago

D, E and M are going for pool next weekend to Vegas. D might get my my own pool stick. How awesome would it be to own a pool stick from Vegas. It would keep me motivated to keep practicing and hopefully I could qualify to go sometime soon! 9 months ago

We should have done this before we got pregnant! Now we’ve got a very young son who can’t be left with my parents for a long weekend so it will have to wait until he’s a bit older…. 10 months ago

I have now been to Las Vegas 3 times and I am going again this weekend! The first Time I went was on New Years with my family, if your ever going to visit Las Vegas New years is the time to go, it gets so crazy!!! No offense to Time Square but Las Vegas blows it away, plus who wants to stand in the cold anyways?! The last two times I went with a group of my friends and My GF, it was a lot more of the clubbing/partying fun. Either way there is something always to do in Vegas, when I went with my family we saw a bunch of the shows on the strip and they were mind blowing… I would recommend KA, O, and Love all top notch quality and a priceless experience. The food is also great, can’t go wrong with any where you choose! It seriously is disney world for adults… it is a chance to relax, have fun, get crazy, just do what ever you want without thinking about it… It does get really hot in the summer but that is when you get a cold drink and chill out at the pool. I love las vegas and I can’t wait to go back there again this weekend. 15 months ago
