I kind of think it’s not really my kind of place, but I really want to see it for myself anyway. I want to see those Bellagio fountains for sure.

How to visit Las Vegas
It made me
rethink my life
 "It was liberating and eye-opening."
How I did it: This trip was probably the most exciting thing I've ever done. I went with a two of my friends and stayed at the lovely Mirage hotel. There was no set agenda and the three of us just took off and let the city swallow us up. I did not get to see everything, but what I saw was amazing! I saw palm trees for the first time. I saw dolphins and tigers...Elvis and Hendrix, I saw a grown man pole dance on a train. I walked around drunk, laughing hysterically and nobody cared! Probably on the second day there I knew I would never look at my life the same way again. I want more bright lights and partying...more fun and more excitement. Most of all I need a big change and Vegas was the push I needed to open my eyes. Lessons & tips: Tips: Resources: Expedia.com- booked flight, hotel, and shuttle...very smooth...no problems. |

I watched Godfather Part 2 this weekend and was, once again, blown away by footage of Las Vegas. I would love to visit Vegas and get married dressed as Audrey Hepburn with my lovely fiance as Elvis!

Wow. That’s all I can say. I didnt expect to like it as much as did, but what can I say, it’s Disneyland for adults and you can’t help but be dazzled by it. Great good, shopping, free drinks, fun themed hotels, theme parks, gambling, amazing shows and entertainment, beautiful hot sunny days, great nightclubs, straight forward efficient transport, everything you could possibly want is all there on one convenient strip. My favourite city in the world, theres so much I still want to see and do I can’t wait to go back.

Back from Sin City

Just got back from Vegas last night. It’s a fascinating city. The Bellagio was my favorite hotel and I loved the water show. We stayed at the Mirage—it was very nice and the pool was awesome. Vegas was a lot more beautiful than I expected, and The Strip was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The heat didn’t bother me too much since the dryness makes your sweat work the way it’s supposed to. The casinos were noisy but beautiful in their own way. Saw two Cirque de Soliel shows (Ka was my favorite). The Liberace Museum was a hoot. I wasn’t too fond of how overpriced everything was and it was pretty hard to find your way around (I was amazed at how everything was designed to keep you in the casinos as long as possible). Otherwise, very fun and I plan to go back in a couple of years.

didn’t love the 110 degree heat yesterday, but loved nearly everything else. I think my favorite place in all of Vegas was The Wynn. Absolutely classy and gorgeous. Alas, I lost on the tables, but had a lot of fun.
