Meet Amy Sedaris

I have a girl crush on her! I’ve met her a few times now and she’s super cool. Once she signed my copy of I Like You and complimented my nail polish. And the other two times I bought things from her at crafts fairs – a calendar and a cupcake. She just seems like someone you would like to hang out and laugh with.

I love Amy Sedaris, but I think I look to highly on her. If I meet her I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed.

Surely some day when I least expect it, I’ll run into Amy and her Brother David and Sarah Vowell and quite possibly my 7th grade P.E. teacher in an elevator somewhere. Then when we get stuck on the 23rd floor for hours, I’m quite sure Mr. Gramaldi will be mentally tortured to near death.

It would be grand fun to do lunch with Amy. Since she has a fictional boyfriend, and when I lived in London I had a fictional wife, we could compare notes. Heck, if her fictional boyfriend ever left her and her fictional kid, maybe I could set him up with my fictional ex-wife.
