I am thinking it is best for me to give up on this goal until things look brighter in my own financial front. Then I can think about volunteering for Special Olympics or a similar cause… 6 years ago

I spent another week of no progress. Something is keeping me from taking action on this goal. I have a feeling that it is the result of having been burnt out in the field. The reasons, well, several… Lack of monetary rewards for the amount of work involved, amount of paperwork involved and the red tape associated with the field…I admit that my happiest career moments have been in being able to have mede at least one life of another human being easier as a direct result of my involvement and dedication with them… 6 years ago

I am supposed to apply for a medicaid waiver license thru wich I will be able to help 1:1 people that have developmental challenges, like help them find competitive employment, help them with daily living skills, socialization and other related activities, however I have been procastinating sending for a referral to an agency I worked at up north were I know my ex boss there will fill in an accurate and favorable report in my favor so I can forward the rest of the information I have to the Developmental Disabilities office here in my community… 6 years ago
