I would really like to find the perfect cream cheese crepe recipe, cook it, and put it into a collection.
People doing this are also doing these things:

Made a vegetable jalfrezi – ticks all the boxes. Jamie Olivers’ recipe is naff though.. fortunately I reckon I can improve on it quite a bit.
As a student, a recipe must satisfy either of these criteria:
1) (weekdays)
takes less than 20mins
uses non perishable inexpensive ingredients
or
2) (weekends)
can take as long as necessary
uses inexpensive ingredients
serves at least 4
can be frozen and then microwaved
Unfortunately I have very few recipes that satisfy either of these, so my food is a bit repetetive. Hence the goal to collect more recipes.
I can make some things, but I want to expand my food knowledge and recipes! I want to be able to make healthy foods that are good for you and taste yummy. So, whenever I come across something, I’ll type it up and print it ou and put it ina binder! : ))
I’ll be off to uni in a year and a half, and we have a lot of “family recipes” – things that we eat a lot, or always cook on special occasions. I want to write them all down and take them with me.
I live in a house with people from all over the world, and they know so many yummy and interesting recipes. Almost all ridiculously healthy. Even so, I still find myself cooking trusty Italian-inspired food. I work in an Italian restaurant, and tomatoes, garlic, parmesan and pasta are so versatile that it has become my default cuisine. But there’s more to life than pasta and bruschetta, no matter how satisfying they may be. My next project is to collect all the best recipes from my housemates. And perhaps start trying them out.
RUNRGRL is trying to fix what has become broken needs to either let 43 things go or get back into it
It’s practically all I ever need to find a new meal to make and everytime I’ve searched to find a specific kind of recipe it’s been there.

In the last few days I’ve done never before made meals. Tonight it was a Roast in my Slow Cooker and was SUPER easy to prepare, mushroom soup, lipton onion soup mix and spices. Meat came out super tender, falling apart with a scrumptous sauce. Also cooked potatoes with it and they were nice and yummy, way easier then frying them up and much healthier I am sure!
The other night I did meatballs in sauce and have never before made meatballs. I love learning new recipes and my confidence in the kitchen is growing everyday! This is one of those things though where it’s important that I “compare myself to no one but who I was yesterday,” otherwise the accomplishment will seem diminished and frankly embarrasing! The only bad thing about tonights meal was there was too much fat on the Roast and it was very unappealing when you got some of the fatty parts.
Unfortunately my daughter is having nothing to do with suppertime and rejecting every food I try on her. Life is cruel when you are saddled with a toddler as picky as you! She tastes tests everything with her tongue first and I think like me she is very sensitive to texture.

Last night I made my first ever Stew, I know that’s pretty sad but I never really gave it much thought. I am tired of making all the same meals or the same kind of meals though and want to keep trying new recipes. The stew turned out really nice though, unfortunately my toddler was having nothing to do with it!

Allrecipes is a great site for finding recipes. I was searching for a recipe to use ground beef and got a nice simple recipe for meatloaf that sounded tasty. And was it ever, and it also smelled SOOO good cooking. Although my husband wanted to kill me for having the oven on in the weather we’ve had lately. It was a unique recipe in that the glaze was on the bottom of the pan instead of over the loaf. You line the bottom of the pan with brown sugar and pour ketchup over the brown sugar. I didn’t have any ketchup left so I used A1 instead. I think it might actually taste better this way as the sweetness of the brown sugar and the zip of the A1 was a nice combination. I made it with garlic mashed potatoes, another recipe I got off the site. The thing I am most proud of is that I adjusted both recipes based on what I had around the house. I lack confidence in the kitchen so even though these things might come easy to some it is a challenge and a risk for me to “experiment”. I know as far as “healthy” goes meatloaf doesn’t really qualify. But everyone liked it so I will make it again!
