Anna Griffith Being who I want to become
You will probably hate me for this, since there seem to be a large number of Obama supporters on this site, but I will be voting for the McCain-Palin ticket next month. This is an informed decision because if I were voting based on who is the best-looking or even the best speaker then Obama would get my vote.
I wrote down the major issues that I care about and that will influence my choice for president and then compared what the candidates claim/their track record for each issue. I also decided which issues I feel are more important than others. There were 11 issues and I agreed with McCain on 6 and Obama on 5. Now that is a pretty close margin so obviously I don’t think Obama is the anti-Christ or anything like some people seem to. However, there were 4 issues (same-sex marriage, abortion, gun control, and the war in Iraq) that I feel are more important or more relevant to me than the other issues. And on these 4 issues, I agree with McCain’s stance on all four.
I could go on for about 20 pages about what I believe on these issues and why, but I just wanted to share with you all my choice in this greatly-important and world-changing election.
