This goal is part of my overall strategy to 1 – leave my job; 2 – work as a motion graphics designer; 3 – earn much more money.
I took a fabulous class in NYC. Email me if you want more info on that. Now I just have to practice. Tonight is the first night I’m dedicating to actually practicing. I’m giving myself all of October to master this bi-at-ch!

Learning it from an OOP perspective was kind of weird, but I had to do it for my job. I was told by a friend that doing this would make me want to claw my eyes out, but so far it’s been pretty okay.

Besides, they are going to be changing to a new version which will likely render this version obsolete – so no point wasting what time I have, right?

My new job has me working in Flash A LOT! I know my way around Flash decently but need to know more. I went out and bought the book Macromedia Flash MX 2004 ActionScript – Training from the Source.
My plan is to work on it on a regular basis. We’ll see how that goes. :)

Waste of time people. Too many strings that won’t apply anywhere outside of the macromedia boundaries.. Though syntax similar to some languages, I wouldn’t suggest getting to far into it. I’ve read the ActionScript 2.0 Dictionary, pretty good book if you’re a nut.
