Half Pinay - I see mangos!!! is re-organizing her life!
Taking the site down and now designing my own personal photography site. ; )
I have done the first part of the re-design although it won’t be viewable until the css-reboot in November.
I now have a colour scheme for the re-design and the layout in a wireframe format.
To have a look at it now go to http://www.canberraboy.com/

I have decided to redesign my site. The last time i touched the interface was 2 1/2 years ago. Since i am working full-time as a web designer i haven’t paid much attention to it. Everytime i think about taking it down some big company buys a load of items from me, one of the companies being Yahoo! Yes Yahoo. I was surprised too. Well i want to start making some big bucks again on the site so me and another programmer are going to make it a super dooper money grabbing website by doing some SEO and redesigning the site. Wish me luck because it will be a process.
it went as well as it could have gone considering that i was designing for myself. apparently, i’m extremely hard to please. _ but i do like pink stuff. www.nyokiglitter.com
The design changes I made to the site a few weeks ago weren’t much, besides cleaning up the fonts. The new logo was clunky, and the page was really white. So last night I put up a new logo, revised the fonts further, and put a background color on the right side of the page. I think it looks better. Since I don’t have the dedication right now to revamp everything, let’s just keep it simple!
pushingthesky.net, my redesigned site – felt great having all the peices fall together and it come out just so, and running (mostly) fine. hardest thing to deal with probably was getting full cross-browser support just right, but I learnt enough CSS hacks so I can step around the problem as much as possible.
Wordpress is a great base for creating sites, and the themes are a breeze if you’re even halfway competent at PHP (or similar styles of programming, such as perl – very quickly adaptable and translateable).
Go get your own site done! :D
My site is a little dusty. I’m working on blogging more often and also want to redesign it.
Goals:
1) Keep my simple layout. Adjust the font and white-space balance to make the site easier to read and more visually pleasing.
2) Redo my logo
3) Install an easier to work with blog tool.
4) Redesign my portfolio site (might be a separate project)
