learn to love editing

It just doesn’t seem doable…

I may quite possibly restart it again sometime…

But I just DON’T WANNA do it now, so I wanna be honest with myself!!

(It seems a terrible shame to just print out my stuff as it is, but it’s not going anywhere such as it is, so… – Terribly environmentally unfriendly… But still.. The thing is in hiatus & this might help (?) ugh)

So I got me a piece of paper & brainstormed around why I hate editing etc, & what come up was I hate the room the PC is currently in – it used to be my ‘English classroom’ for the kids next door, then it was Sis’s room (& there is still some of her clutter hanging around) & it is just generally cluttered etc.

So what I did today (after brainstorming on other options too, that included getting a new laptop or Mini Mac after all… or going back to Granny’s or, indeed, to London) is I did at least ‘surface cleaning/decluttering’ and put some of the stuff on shelves, and covered some of the stuff with pretty covers etc. This room does need a do-over, but in the absence of that, we’ll try to do what can be done (at least to get the really annoying things out of the way!)

It’s a mini-step, anyway!!

I have a novel, SF romance, to finish – & I really hate editing!! So I decided to put it as a goal here, to brainstorm how to learn to love editing! lol

(I decided if I learnt to love – or ‘endure’ back exercises & walking around in my silly little suburbia, I could learn to love that too! No? ;)
