do something drastic to my hair

Up until the age of about 10 my hair was a bob cut almost down to my shoulders. I then got it cut really short and it looked quite boyish so I regrew it in time to start secondary school. Then aged 13 I got it cut again and had some red highlights put in and haven’t looked back since. It’s styled exactly how I want it and it even inspired my nickname :D Love it!

Hoping to do go from light blonde to dark red at the weekend :D

I went from having long hair, to short hair, black hair to blond hair. It can be fun, it can be tragic but it’s worth it to look back and say, Um, yeah I did do that once and I loved it!

I was 16 years old, had long hair my entire life and I needed a change. For the world to see and for me to be proud off…
It wasn’t about just cutting my hair, or having a new look. It was about change, change from the the sme person I saw in the mirror to the person I am.

I cut my long, thick, black hair that sat about midway down my back, to just below my ears. The best feeling in the world, walking out of that hair salon feeling amazing and “new”. I wouldn’t dare do that again :) but it was a an experience I wouldn’t take back ever

It’s easy to be terrified to do something drastic to your hair but its easier still to realize that its just hair and you can always get it back to how it is now…eventually. I love my new ridiculous short hair cut. And I cut it myself!

I had my mid-back length hair cut super short with layers and dyed it blonde…it was drastic for me (at the time). Now I’m working on letting it grow back long…and keep it dark. :)

Totally worth it, I feel rejuvinated. Now I can stop feeling drab and complaining about it.

I got my hair cut up quite short and layered, and dyed it dark red with a blonde streak. I’m very happy with it, lots of people have complimented me, and well, it’s a big change! Change is good. :) I’m glad I did it.
