okay that thing was funny as hell. i listened to all 22 current chapters. i can’t believe he’s so incredibly serious about all of this. “this is where it gets really twisted cause that guy is a midget, midget, midget, midget.” it was freakin’ funny and if you’ve got some free time and someone to watch it with i completely recommend doing this! go for it.
the whole thing in its entirety… i don’t know if i’ll make it back alive…. pray for me.
ehhhh. i enjoyed it throughout the summertime. it’s definitely not a party song though.
Ok, the actual hiphopera itself is absurd to the point it makes me want to kill myself, however the real genius is in the commentary on the DVD. I actually went out and bought the DVD for the commentary. It is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen in my life and is totally worth the price of the DVD. You get gems of wisdom from R. Kelly including:
Understanding that the cliff-hanger at the end of a certain scene is a cliff-hanger because it’s not a cliff-hanger (GENIUS)
Cursing makes things more “3D”
His maniacal laughing
The words “reality” and “cliff-hanger” repeated hundreds of times.
A director that doesn’t understand how to work a camera.
...and many more!
I totally recommend everyone watch the commentary to see just how much of a comedic genius R. Kelly really is.
i downloaded this 12-chapter opus on a whim one evening and was overcome with the accidental brilliance therein. not the slightest bit ironic, it is a true gem.
