I was gonna attempt to paint in oils last week, but I was completely lacking in turpentine (for cleaning brushes – not like good old uncomplicated acrylics that only need water!) and, I’ll be honest, a bit of confidence. I’ve always been an acrylics girl; oils frighten me a little!
But I’m done with putting things off because I’m afraid it’ll be difficult. I’m gonna put together a list of all the stuff I need, buy that stuff, then sit down with my easel and canvas, and confront the oils!! 11 months ago

I’ve all but finished those 2 paintings now. Oils will be experimented with next week, when I can get my hands on them. 11 months ago

Wow… I bought the oil paints I was so determined to use 18 months ago, according to my last entry! I really need to do this, I hope they haven’t dried up or gone all crappy or something. After I’ve completed the two acrylic paintings I’m currently in the middle of, I will bust out the oils!! 12 months ago
