I’ve lost 17.6 pounds so far,32 pounds left to go….I ‘am very sure I’m completing this goal in a matter of months, in fact 50 is my mini goal after losing those 32 pounds I want to lose another 20, so I could reach my perfect weight, this time, I am sticking to my diet , no matter what! 1 week ago
I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now. I’m just not happy in my own skin right now but I will get there. I discovered some great news yesterday, I already gave up pop and been trying my hardest not to eat fast food. My special someone has also been trying to support me with not getting extras like sour cream or ranch on things. Just by doing those little things I now have dropped a pant size. It all started by me going to a little retail therapy and deciding for fun I was going to try the next size smaller in a pair of jeans because the ones I wear all the time I am constantly pulling up. As I put them on I realized, holy crap these jeans are actually fitting over my thighs, then they actually buttoned. I swear I wanted to scream horray at the top of my lungs but instead I texted a couple people and put it as my status on facebook. I was in the best mood for the rest of the day. Now I need to get a gym membership and get my workout on! 2 weeks ago
How I did it: I started this goal years ago, when I was at a very unhealthy weight and I was very inactive. I started eating better and exercising more and lost thirty pounds fairly easily, and then I got complacent and hovered around the same weight for years.
After maintaining half the weight loss for years, I gained almost all of it back after make a bad birth control choice. Now I have rejoined Weight Watchers since November and am starting all over again towards my goal. I’m not totally sure I want to lose exactly 50 anymore, but 40 to 45 is a close enough goal.

When i went to the doctor She said that I’d gained 10 pounds back. I have an idea where that’s come from. Since being home with the baby, I have been eating whatever crap i can get my hands on and sugaring up so that I can avoid the caffeine and stay alert with the baby. Bad Bad BAD!. I will be eating better and upping my workout to counter this. 4 weeks ago
I’m officially down 5 pounds this week, so I’m 10% closer to my goal! The journey hasn’t been too tough yet, but i also haven’t been plagued with too much temptation, so that makes it easier. I just keep plugging away one day at a time, and it’s working! 4 weeks ago
i lost 25 pounds…almost 2 years ago, and gained 15 of it back pretty quickly. i started going to the gym 3 weeks ago, and just really started being disciplined about what i eat. so far i have lost 8 pounds, and have a wedding in hawai’i to motivate me through the next 42! 1 month ago
As usual, I gained back most of what I lost. I feel like I’ve been so tired for months – blame it on work, family, whatever. I just haven’t felt any motivation to do anything about losing weight despite how much I desire to weigh less.
So I’ve decided that this will be the year that all I focus on is losing weight and feeling better (and definitely more confident) about myself. I’ve been telling myself for years that once I lose weight, I’ll go back to school, I’ll do this or that and make something of myself…something’s gotta give before I waste my youth away on conjecturing and end up old and wondering about what could have been.
I joined Weight Watchers online to take my first steps towards change. I have yet to feel that fire lit under my rear to exercise, but monitoring what I eat is a good place to start.
Here’s to completing this goal – hoping that 2012 isn’t as disappointing or fruitless as 2011. 1 month ago
