I can remember a thinner, healthier me. I’m not happy with what I see when I look in the mirror. It seems like no matter what I try, there is always somethings to stop me from reaching this goa. I did very well for a while. Then I had some health problems, which caused me to gain weight. Then I was treated with medication for years that caused me to gain more weight. I recently had surgery and was given more medication but this time they told me that I wouldn’t gain weight from this medication. My weight fluctuates which is very uncomfortable and frustrating. I’m determined to do it this time. Hopefully, nothing else will interfere.

How to lose 50 pounds"A hard ride, a worthwhile journey and an amazing result. 1/5 of my weight in 4 months, and I feel fantastic!"
How I did it: My plan was simple. I looked at where I wanted to be by getting a general idea from a BMI calculator, I figured out what I ought to be eating, using Thedailyplate.com, and I kept a log of what I ate there, along with my weight loss progress. Then I simply started to become active. I took up running. Started with the "Couch to 5k" program, and just kept on from there. Lessons & tips: I can provide a few tips. How I did it: By eating less, and being more careful about what I ate when I did. This consisted mostly of two things: cutting out non-meal snacks almost completely, and cutting down portions when I did eat. It's a bit painful when you start, but if you stick to it hard it gets easier. Mostly I've been having a light breakfast and lunch, with a larger dinner - makes it a bit easier for me. How I did it: After you start to see some success with losing weight, then you know you have a good system. If it's a fancy diet, and exercise program, whatever. Once you start seeing results, the important thing is commit to it even harder. I was happy to see that I was losing weight, and after you lose about 25, you will be tempted to loosen up and eat dangerously. Commit to your diet, stick with your plan.I also set an outlandish goal of participati… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started off with a few different fad diets, which got rid of about 10 pounds quickly. Then I did Weight Watchers for a while because that had worked before, and that only took off about 8 pounds. I got fed up, so I went to a doctor who prescribed a few different meds for me, which actually work for me, and the rest of the weight came off with me exercising at least 30 minutes a day 5 days each week and drastically changing m… Read how I did it…

violentwife is going to be alright.
So I eat 3 to 4 small meals a day and I’ve been forcing myself to get more sleep over the past two weeks and while my friends and family are telling me that i look much thinner, the scale isn’t reflecting it. I know it’s important to lose inches too but I’m getting antsy. I’m getting complimented and its motivating me to really do it to it.
My mom said that it sounded like my metabolism needed a kick-start, So i started walking home from work everyday which is just over 2 miles. It’s not some huge distance I get that but it’s more exercise than I’d do if i took the 5 minute drive to and from work. Plus I’m saving on gas so It’s win/win!

feinstein is losing 50 pounds
Nothing is the same except the weight. I started running again and have managed 5/7 days a week. I’ve also focused on portions very carefully. To be honest, the weight dipped below the 230 mark several times, but no major downward trend yet. I’m hopeful that next week, I will have something to show for the hard work.

Jessica is having a good day
Down to 150 from 178! Yay! I’ve started jogging, and I’ve been visiting family over the past few weeks, which means eating better :)
So, I have gained even more. Up to 195 now. But there is good news! I found a website called SparkPeople.com that has all kinds of support going on. You can track your water intake, your food intake, your exercising. There are health articles, nutrition articles, motivational articles, and more. You can join smaller groups for inspiration and motivation. You really feel as though you are not alone. I’ve been drinking 8 glasses of water a day now for about a month. I just started exercising again and I feel like this time will be THE time.
that was fucking easy!! i have lost 27 pounds in the last 6 weeks. i havent done much different as far as exercise, just tightened up my diet…nothing strict. i think the rest will come off even easier. i am motivated now, i guess i just had to take that first step.
