(What is RSS?)Ask and ye shall receive is suppose is the message here. I had been inquiring lately about some photo work and I landed a couple of decent upcoming gigs. This week, I’m shooting an event for a local charitable organization and in March, I’ve got a solo wedding gig – my first after numerous working as a second.
Woot!
I’ve been looking at the fact that I have some added bills for the next few months and wondering how I would be able to afford everything. I realized that I’ve got both experience and gear to work as a photographer on the side.
I’ve taken pictures since I was old enough to hold a camera and I’ve assisted on weddings, worked events, had images featured in gallery shows, sold a few photos for decoration and even sold one of my photos for a book cover. But, I’ve never really pursued it as much more than a hobby.
Now, I have a reason.
