Brought home a Godiva Chocoiste dark chocolate bar and put it on my dear Rober’s pillow . . . he had class tonight and then went by the gym to run, so he’ll have a nice surprise to hopefully make getting home late not quite so bad:)

Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.
We both love the autumn weather we’re currently experiencing… and we both love outdoor festivals… and art. So, we’re going to go to the St. James Court Art Festival (one of the top five outdoor art festivals in the nation) this weekend. It’s in Louisville, Ky in a very old neighborhood where all the houses are Victorian. About 300,000 people usually attend every year. It’s big with literately several hundred artists selling their work in individual booths. I think it’ll be a good time for us to relax and escape with one another.

Tacos. My wife came home from work and said she wanted me to make her tacos instead of pasta. I guess no wine or pasta (probably will do that tomorrow or another night this week).

I don’t know how romantic it really is (that’s part of the problem… what I think is romantic isn’t always… and things that I think wouldn’t be romantic sometimes are sigh), but I’m making her dinner tonight. Her favorite thing is spaghetti with meat sauce (everything made from scratch, of course). Got some of her latest favorite TV show (Supernatural) ready from Netflix and a bottle of wine. She really wanted one of those Flip Video (MinoHD) flash camcorders, so I bought that for her as a present.

The other night my fiancee and I just laid in bed, asking each other questions like we used to so we could know everything about one another. A lot of the questions we knew the answers to already, but it is a great way to check in and make sure you both still know each other’s likes.

...is the next thing I want to work on in our marriage. We have a good marriage… we’re happy and respect each other. But I could do a lot more to be romantic (and I’m not talking about sex).

I went to a nice romantic restaurant for our anniversary… that was great. It’s about as romantic as I get. I have found she’s similar so it doesn’t help me… it’s like, we have 1 second of a romantic moment and then we revert for it. I guess that’s how some people are but when I can, I’ll try to be romantic!

Being romantic
I suppose the real goal is to go on a date with someone I find attractive.

So today I am spending with my girlfriend in our dorm hall. She had to finish up some schoolwork and she asked me if I could start cooking lunch while she was away. She gave me her key to her dorm room. Hehehe So I used that opportunity to set up all the Christmas gifts and decorations I got her in her room. She was totally shocked :D :D

I’ve found that it is easy to forget to be romantic. I’ve been serious with my girlfriend for a month and time seems to fly by. I seem to forget to do little romantic things like I did when I first met her.
She deserves one romantic thing a day. That’s my goal.
