I’m not all about being the movie image of what romance is, I think that’s all a sham. I need to develop my own way.

I love romance, and I love feeling it with someone. I need more time with a person though, and really let the love flow.

Hi All… Wow, that Romantic thing is pretty hard… if anyone has any advice, please help me, I would appreciate it.

As for being more romantic with guys, well it isn’t THAT different-
we would appreciate being cooked for- make us something to eat and we are happy. Also- all guys have their favorite things that they like to drink from orange juice to dry martinis. Find out what he likes to drink and stock it. Also, although we do the flower buying, you can bake or send cookies, brownies, and other snacks to us- especially at our work or school.

Changing our sheets, buying us a down quilt or down pillows is also a romantic thing to do, especially if our bedroom needs sprucing up a bit.

I wear a lot of golf-type shirts with alligators, etc. on them and I always appreciate a new one.

It is romantic for you to sit and watch an important game, like the Super Bowl with us. Plan some food and we will think it is Valentine’s Day.

Initiate sex. We hate to do all the asking. Just start rubbing us in all the right places- give us passionate kisses and we will feel that you are hot for us.

Love notes- little stick it notes on our car or mirror are cute.

Personally, I think it’s way easier for guys to be romantic to girls. They can buy girls roses, give them chocolates, cuddle them, give them their jackets when they’re cold, buy them cute little presents and call them things like “beautiful” when phoning or sending a sweet text. But what can girls do?!

Probably why I’m so rubbish at this. I have no idea what to do. Do guys even LIKE to be romanced? And if so, what should you do?? This guy I’m kind of seeing is really romantic – he sends me really cute texts and is very charming and gentlemanly. And I just feel like an oaf most of the time cos I want to do something back to show him I appreciate it but I don’t know what or how!

I complain that my boyfriend isn’t romantic enough. Maybe if I become more romantic myself then he’ll catch on or follow my lead.

This comes natural to some people but not me it is something I need to work on.

I just don’t know. I think I need to work through a few other goals before this oune is ever going to work. So for now (I’m going to keep this one on my list) I give up.
