How I did it: We bought our tickets about two months ago for 26 dollars each. The thing is, I hate standing at concerts these days because it hurts my back, I hate waiting through opening bands, etc. I think it would have been so much better if it was at a venue with seats. Anyhow, we saw the first 3 songs and they were absolutely amazing! They are so talented and beautiful but we were at the back of the crowd and everyone around us was having full-on conversations thus it was impossible for me to focus on the music and I was getting angrier and angrier, so we just left. I know the show was awesome and part of me wishes we had stayed but oh well, what can ya do.
Lessons & tips: Most people don't mind standing for a long time or people talking so to them it would be totally worth it. The band is amazing so if you like them then I recommend going!

I saw them yesterday at Rock Werchter. It was pretty amazing apart from the huge crowd. I plan to see them again at Cologne in August.

I had this on my 43things a while back. I thought it was an impossible dream, so I took it off my list. Well, yesterday, I was looking in the local paper and saw they are coming to town. I bought my ticket! It was expensive, but I don’t care. I’m so excited. I love this band.
