I really want a classic bike. Like mr McQueen
How to own a motorbike
How I did it: I did the lessons, followed by the test, got excited but didn't want to rush into anything, realised months later that i should get one before i completely forget how to ride, looked for a cheap 2nd hand bike, instead bought a brand new one, drove it home scared out my mind because i could barely remember everything and kept stalling it.
Lessons & tips: Take it slow and easy, always remember you may be a second from death so don't get cocky. Best advice i can give though is assume everyone else on the road can't drive to save their lives, and chances are they wont even see you.

A few years ago my brother bought a Suzuki GSXR600 and i became smitten. Since then a few other people i know started getting bikes and every summer, because i live near Cadwell, hundreds of bikes take to the streets and i immediately turn jealous.
The closest i have gotten so far is owning a couple of mini motos!! Ultimately i want a 600 super sport but mean while until i get my bike licence and the money saved up im going to try and get me a crosser. i had a play on someones CR125 and it was a beast.
Best get saving!
Almost bought a bike via Ebay last year. Nearly wet myself when I was 1 hour from winning it – hadn’t ridden in over 3 years & it needed picking up. Would’ve loved the chalenge, but would’ve sweated buckets all the way home – if I hadn’t frozen to death.
Wanna do it properly next time & be prepared.

I have taken a notion recently to drive a motorbike from the south of France across the border into Spain, across to the west coast, down through Portugal, ending up at Gibralta. There is no good reason why i have chosen this particular journey,; it just seems like a really good idea. Of course, in order to do this i would need to aquire a motorbike. I would also need to clear some time, put aside some money and then do it. Thats quite a lot of obstacles. Which makes it all the more worthwhile of a goal. How long would it take? How much would it cost? If I bought a bike in Marsielles, howmuch would i have to spend and whats the second hand bike market like in Gibralta?
I had a VT125C shadow for 6 glorious months. My big adventure involved riding it to Northumberland from Wilts – being a 125 it took 8.5 hours!!! Unfortunately I binned it on the way home and broke my hand, then it had to make way to give me the money I needed for driving lessons but every time its warm and sunny and I hear that fab engine sound I wish I still had my baby!
always been a dream of mine since my dad had one when i was little. i used to ride behind him coz my mum was scared of it…..
it should very soon after i graduate my school, when i get to my first duty station.
i have been a biker at heart from the age of 10. obsessed with leather jackets/boots and growing my hair very long so it flies in the wind. I just want a small 1970s triumph/harley with the single round front light and long flat leather seat. i want to feel the vibration of the motor and cruise everywhere. i want it soooo bad that im gonna take the license, buy a second hand bike in a beautiful country like india and ride it….
any advice on what bike i could buy?

I dont need a motorbike. I dont have a great passion for them either. Motorbikes occupy very little, if any of my day to day thoughts. But I’ll be hanged if I want to reach the gates of heaven without having been Steve McQueen for a day. I want one and thats it.
