I am so happy.
After wishing for three years to have a better, but older storm door on the house, it has happened.
The old storm door was metal, and too short. There was a gap that was big enough on the bottom that the area between the doors would fill with snow. I also broke the window in it, so I had to caulk a piece of plexiglass in for winter. Besides that it was really ugly.
The doorway is really narrow. It would have cost a fortune to have a storm door made, so I went to Rehouse, and found an old one. I had to buy a circular saw to cut 2 inches off of the side. After hours and hours of sanding, the door is up. The doorway and the door need to be painted. But it matches the house, and has a glass window that comes out for placement of a screen. Its perfect, and it cost $30.
