the method I used I’m not happy with, I’d still like to do this but it’s not an active goal, so I’m taking it off my list

still hasn’t returned to normal, and I seem to have been set off into a spiral of what I can only really call binging!! mmmm…
I’m definitely not doing that detox again! I DO NOT Recommend Dr Gillian McKeith’s 24 hour Detox!! I took this on fri night sat morning and my stomach still isn’t ok, and I only too half of what I was supposed to!
Next time I do a detox I’ll do it by castor oil in the evening and lots of freshly mushed veggies and fruits into smoothies! and the next day I need to make sure I’m eating enough carbohydrate… lack of that is what kicks my cravings for unhealthy produce!

it warns on the packet do this when you’re at home… it may involve frequent visits to the bathroom!!
Yes I have required quick dashes to the bathroom several times this morning!!!
Yesterday was quite good, not as bad as I’d imagined, I did have difficulties with not eating, I felt ravenous, but did manage to stave off any acid indigestion which was good.
I made 2 fruit & veg smoothies… celery, carrot & beetroot, which were actually scrummy and I’m going to start eating more of them in my regular diet! They were quite filling too which was great!
I did cheat a little, I ate licorice (natural with no additives, but did contain sugar :-( and I ate some pieces of chicken
:-( )
However, I do not see this as a failure, mearly areas which I can improve upon. If I allow myself to think I’ve failed and didn’t do a good job then I’ll never do this again, and that’s not the aim!!
I didn’t use pink grapefruit juice to mix the detox sachet with, I used apple juice because I didn’t have any grapefruit juice in the house, and I’m ok with this.
I don’t particularly like the cramps (pain) in the stomach area, and I only took half of the dose stipulated, and I’m quite happy with that, I don’t want something that acts really harshly on my body, I want this to be positive!!
I’ll probably try the sachets again, but may use castor oil as a laxative in future… just eating juices and salads and fruits for the first day, castor oil in the evening and then eating lightly again the next day. That can’t be bad for you… and anything that will help my digestion is good… I have problems!!
So the days not quite finished… I’ll post on how I feel over the next few days also. Today I feel quite sleepy, despite having had a good night’s sleep, it might be because of the light food yesterday, I’m not sure ???

today and tomorrow… today I’m eating lightly.. soup, juiced veg, fruit and nuts, tonight I drink some detox drinks… and tomorrow mornign the same!! I’m looking forward to this! ;-D

so that I know when another month has passed!!
Since I last posted I did have a lovely full body massage with shiroda, which is very good for detox! the shiroda is great tooo- warm sesame oil runs over the forehead for about an hour!
I bought foot detox patches yesterday, so that’s good.
Tomorrow I may be driving all day.. so tomorrow’s not practical.
I think possibly saturday will be a good day… that gives me 2 days to prepare my plan!!! :-D
I’ll look at the instructions for the detox drink again and see what they say! I’m going to the meditation place on Sat eve, hopefully so that will be a good day.

detox once a month, and really I have lots of ideas of how I can do this.. so perhaps I should write them out here and bein to formulate a plan for how to do this…
Drink lots of water
take lots of vitamin C
Don’t eat meat
eat only soups… (make my own fresh soup would be best!)
Only drink fresh unpastuerised fruit juice
Use the detox sachets I bought…
Use the Chi foot detox patches
Don’t have anything planned for the day
Have a massage on that day (Kinda counteracts the above but I think worth it to help the detox process!)
Do whole yoga routine, and pcals, meditation and pranayama
Sleep well the day before, sleep in the afternoon if I feel tired
Listen to meditation affirmation cd’s
read inspiring books
this day could be the day I go to the meditation centre… could combine it with this… it’s on regularly once a month…. mmmmmm food for thought!
Ok I think that’s all the idea’s I’m able to pluck from my head for now… will post more when they come to me :-)

because I’m scared… I’ll pluck up the courage and do it soon.
Meanwhile, i did the foot detox patches for a couple of nights so I count this as being done this month, next month I plan for an improvment :-D

but I’m scared.
I’m not good when I get hungry, then I end up eating food that I’m allergic too so I’m afraid of this goal, yet I know it will improve my health.
I think I need to read more about this again, so I can feel confident I’m following the right directions :-)
