learn french and spanish

I will learn french and spanish before 2010 so i can communicate with people from other parts of the world.

I have references, but no real motivation to do this.. I doubt I wil travel to where I need to be fluent, but I wil always be curious enough to look up a phrase once in a while .. sort of bathroom reading .. 20 seconds worth :-)

just a few phrases at a time, put the French phrase book in the downstairs loo / lav / john

I write the phrase in english then ask a reliable spanish speaking person to translate it for me then I type a flashcard put it in my PDA’s flash cards collection. That’s how I memorize the most things.
