BloodRedThorn wants people to add a book to her goal of list the books one must read
OK so i was up at 9 today cos I had work even though I rolled into bed at 3 so hopefully I can keep it up.
How I did it: I started walking with a friend and gradually introduced running a bit at a time. We would run to the next tree or lamp post and then walk and catch our breath and then repeat. Eventually we could make it around a 3km track without stopping. We then worked on increasing our distance slowly over a period of weeks to months.
It starts to get fun after that and then you cant live without it. The first few weeks were the hardest, perserverance is the key, stick to it!
Lessons & tips: get a running buddy, makes it a lot harder to hit the snooze button and stay in bed.
be prepared to get addicted!
Resources: a running buddy
some decent running shoes if you are planning to make it a habit.
ipod is nice sometimes too especially if going alone

When I’m up really late at like 5 and its just morning and so quiet and serene it’s really nice! So I want to try and go for a run in the early morning!
It may be different waking up that early and going out lol as I’ll be sleepy but hopefully it’ll wake me up!
Now to do this goal I must first build up fitness because I am so unfit right now I can barely fun the width of a football pitch without getting badly out of breath!
So cardio fitness first, then early morning :)
