    I think my husband is going to have his way and we are going to buy the TV before the living room set :) Which I guess I don’t mind since I haven’t exactly picked out a living room set for us and that will take time.

    flat screen tv vs flat panel tv 2 years ago

    We got our current 24” flat screen TV about 6 years ago when our last set died. We weren’t really looking for a flat screen specifically. It just happened to be the one that fit best in our tv cabinet. We love it though. The picture is much better and even appears bigger than the one on our previous 25” set. At least it did until a week ago when something blew out. We hope to get it fixed. If it is too expensive to be worth fixing we may splurge and go with a wide aspect, flat panel, HD LCD TV.

    Its 57in and well worth it. DVD’s and Video games are so much more exciting! I just have to hook my surround back up now. I suppose I could probably get cable now too!
