I am slated to go next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 weeks ago

I have really wanted to go for about five years or more—and this is my chance! Maybe an easy 43things goal to achieve, since I’m adding the goal to my list after already buying the tickets…

but still (it really was on my Giant List of To Dos, just not written down til now).

It’s not that I’m actually giving up on going to Mexico. It’s just that this goal isn’t something I’ll see happening anytime soon. I’ll re-open it when it’s a better time.

amazing! went down for an intensive learning spanish program. i went for a month, but you can go for however long you wish. cuernavaca was the town i stayed in and i had a blast – learned a lot too! the picture is from a cliff diving show i went to.. the young men would jump 134ft into 10ft of water! they even climbed up the cliff they were jumping off of! craziness!

There might be a problem in the plans of going to Mexico with Melody this February. Not sure yet, but her brothers wedding is on the 22nd and my mom is leaving on the 21st. BUT, what Melody and I have thought of was maybe just leaving on the 22nd just me and her and coming up a few days later. That gives my mom and Dave a few days alone, and Melody and I the independance to come by ourselves! We shall see.

cozumel - a must for divers! 2 months ago

we went to cozumel in december 2006 for our first trip to mexico and our first warm-water diving experience. it was fantastic! this town only feels touristy when the cruise ships are around, and they only stay a few hours during the day. the food is wonderful, the diving is fantastic, and you really feel like you’re on a tropical vacation – with geckos outside your hotel room, stores where people don’t speak english, no mcdonald’s or starbucks to be found, and gorgeous blue water as far as the eye can see.

(Dia de los Muertos) Day of the Dead in Mexico... 2 months ago

Have you ever noticed that Halloween is really just for us kids in the USA, well in Mexico They celebrate for the dead, to honor them! If Halloween here was once like that, its more of a joke now… Did u also notice all the haunting phenomenon we have here (I am a believer), I think honoring the dead is a good idea Mexico has, so I would like to go there one day for their day of the dead festival. Ya know even if u are the type of person that doesn’t believe in spirits or that the dead can see u, isn’t it still appropriate to honor their lives, wouldn’t u want to be missed if u were dead?

I Think that Dia de los Muertos is the way to go, and I hope that I can go to mexico and celebrate it one day…
