I’m not going to use SuperCheers, and, while I appreciate any SuperCheers I get, I’d prefer others not to use them either.

until they add an opt-out feature! Nonetheless, having had my say, I’m marking it done. wry grin

that I was filled with when I received mine, I don’t think this is a good way to generate income for the site.

Not for me. 2 years ago

    I’m gonna keep it simple.

I explained to them that I have no right to tell them how to make money, if they want to sell “pet rocks” or “invisible pet leashes” (BTW-I have never purchased any of those but maybe you have) who am I to stop them with goals like these. So I apologized and told them, Good luck woth the Super Cheers, I don’t want to see them go out of business and wish them well.

How many SuperCheers have you actually seen? 2 years ago

It seems that many other people have opted out (besides the ones on this goal page). I noticed three yellow halo’s during the first week, but only one this week, in all my surfing around on the site. Of course, perhaps I was looking in the wrong places.

It will be interesting to see how long the SuperCheer ad keeps popping up.

My biggest problem with it is, as Arsene Lupin pointed out, that we, the members, provide the content. So they would like us to pay for the privelege of providing it? Before I joined, I read an article stating that this site is owned by amazon.com. I don’t know if that is accurate… does anyone know?

    I’m just saying no!

I can see what the robots are trying to do with this. 2 years ago

I just think there’s gotta be a better way to raise revenue. Free and freely given encouragement is one of the very best things about this site.

And the box is totally annoying.

I really wish there was a way to opt out permanently, but failing that, I’ll just ignore the supercheer resolutely.
