My savings account is for me getting a car, and once I have that, its going to be my emergency money for anything I need for my diabetes. Though, it only has $14.55
So far, im screwed if I lose my health insurance

Schuylerwarren lovely day out..
Apparently Chase Bank charges $4.00 per month if you have less than $300.00 in your saving acct… so I am going to start putting money in my second checking acct. & transfer the money over when I have the minimum. :)
Wish me luck!—Sky
I managed to build my savings nicely. Which meant that when I found myself jobless at the end of last year, I had a nice safety cushion.
I’ve been living off my savings since I quit my job, and it’s slowly running out and I need to rebuild it again. That god I saved a bit in the first place for an emergency! I’ve got to get a new job first :x
I think the problem with my savings is that it’s an instant-access account. Maybe I should think about getting a 30-day or even 90-day account and just putting a small amount into it each month…
With the credit cards paid off and finances back on track, hopefully the money going into savings tomorrow from my pay packet will still be there at the end of the month…
In conjunction with paying off my credit cards, I’m currently putting it all in savings (the credit card is 0%) so I should at least get a nice interest payment at year end. I’m allocating an amount of each payment to saving, and the rest to the card – keeping them separate in my own accounting system even though they’re together in the account.
