I have art supplies like no one else, but I can’t get them organized. I moved into a new house almost a year ago. We were planning on making the unfinished basement an art studio. I haven’t been able to get that organized. The basement is darker, damper, and just more unpleasant than I realized.
I tore a ligament in my ankle (tore it right off the bone) in December and wasn’t able to navigate the basement stairs. Now it has healed but still causes me trouble. I’m unsteady on the stairs.
There were possibilities of renting an art studio earlier this year. I put my sights on that, but that fell through.
All of these things and several crisis in my family has added up to no place for me to do my art…yet. I need to get the basement organized. Just give it a shot. See what I can do to make it more pleasant.
