DoctorTeeth loves loves LOVES "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross!
My wife’s father gave her his old guitar earlier this year, but it’s too big for her to get her hand around the neck, so she gave it to me. It’s really quite a bit nicer than having to save up the money and then worry about what kind of guitar to get. No stress, no work, just pure serendipity. If only all my goals could be accomplished like that!

My brother’s have a guitar and a bass. Now I have one. We’ve jammed together and its great. When you are just chilling and all. I even played with a friend over the phone. Speaker phone is great! I even have guitar hero, but it’s all good because I’m learning to play a real guitar. So, I’m still on the cool side!! I think?

Stop holding onto a goal that I am not actually trying to achieve.
I can maybe ask for one for my birthday or christmas. And then, I can put the goal up to learn how to play.
But I’m in a streamlining phase with my goals.
Bye, “get a guitar.” I’ll see you later.

I do not have a guitar. I do not have the money to buy a guitar.
I am going to put it out there into the universe that I want a guitar. I want to recieve a guitar. An acoustic guitar. I am open to the coming of my guitar. I want it to have a sweet, melodic tone. That’s the most important thing. I want it to be small enough that I can get my little fingers around it, an added bonus to this being that G and I will be able to use it while they are still young. I want it to be pretty—although that is not the most important thing. I want it to be free or of minimal cost—minimal meaning within what I have on me as spending money when I find it.
It may sound kind of airy fairy to think that I can just wish it into existence, but it has worked before. I got my antique barristers desk when I was trying to manifest a desk for my writing. The huge gorgeous thing literally walked in my door—well, not on it’s own two feet, but a friend of my sister’s walked it in the door when I wasn’t even there. He was a mover, and somebody was discarding a bunch of furniture. He brought it to us.
So I want to manifest a guitar. I know I have to focus on it, which is difficult, since I have such difficulty focusing right now. Maybe I can remember to manifest while I am out walking with the kiddos in their stroller.
I will try to keep an eye out on the sidewalk. People throw things out all the time. I love to sidewalk scavenge, but haven’t really had the opportunity to do so since having kids.
If it doesn’t arrive on the sidewalk, maybe it will show up some other way. The important thing is to focus and be open.

My mother found an old Kingston on Ebay. It cost a total of $38, but it needs a screw replaced in one of the tuning pegs. We weren’t sure how it would turn out, but it’s not as bad as we thought it might have turned out. This is wonderful, though it will be even more so when that screw gets replaced.

I got myself an electric guitar just recently, do your research and have someone who’s very experienced with guitars take you to several guitar places and show you around and try to get you a deal. Those who are really into guitars do not have any problem helping a friend of a friend’s when it comes to sharing their passion (or so has been my experience).

Let me just say that my parents are very against this. Which is why I’m trying to buy a kit with my own money. I’m saving up the money. What I really want, though, is a Strat. I dream of it at night – a black and white beauty playing licks only I can hear. A torturer of the mind.
Of course, then I’ve got to learn how to play the guitar.
