I DON’T KNOW HOW TO START….WE LIVE IN A TWO BEDROOM HOME ITS NOT OURS WE ARE RENTING. THERE ARE FIVE OF US HERE AND MY LITTLE BROTHER MAKES SIX WHEN HE’S HERE…I’M SORRY THAT I DON’T REALLY KNOW WHAT TO SAY. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY WE LIVE IN DUBLIN GA, AND WE CAN USE YOUR HELP.

It all started in 1994,my mom and dad had a dream.They worked hard all their lives,and they always provided for us 3 boys,wich wasnt always easy.We lived in an old mobile home for years,then mom and dad started saving money out of their checks weekly to buy building material to build our home.My family is a real close family,and the dream for our house was for it to be big enough to always give us a home to come back to.Mom and dad couldnt afford to pay anyone to build our home,,so it was up to my dad to teach us three sons to do all the work ourselves,i remember swinging a hammer at 8 yrs of age,and cutting and measuring peices of wood to be cut.My two brothers and me didnt hav a regular childhood,there was no going over to friends and playing,and no friends coming over to play here,cause they might get hurt.It was always come home and take your school clothes off and put your work clothes on! The house took longer to build than we imagined,and as the years went by..the money was always tight and there wasnt enough to buy materials to build our home,there was barely enough to buy food for us to eat,we ate alot of potatoe soup,and cornbread growing up.My dads health started failing,and we finally got him to go to the dr’s and he was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs and brain and of the bone.My dad was the most self sacrificing person i have ever known and the doctor said he must of been in pain for years,and that he had to of known something was wrong,but he never complained,just always worked,by the time he was diagnosed the doctor gave him two mths to live and daddy died 42 days later.The house was never finished,,the wole upstairs is closed off and the downstairs is slowly going down hill,my mom and her disabled brother and us three boys from time to time.My mom and dads dream is dieing her slowly,we have tried to get mom to leave and get another home,,but we have lived her for 22 yrs and no one wants to let this place go,our childhood is here and all that we sacrificed gorwing up is this home and five acres of land.My family and mom would love to see this home fixed and finished it is a four bedroom home and is like a dieing dream that will never be finished.It would mean the world to all of us to see this project dream finished and have a happy ending.My dad might be dead and gone but his dream isnt yet.Please help us finish our home….sincerly yours…unfinished dream

My name is Amberli Metcalf. I know that you have many people that want and need your help. I want you to know that I would never ask for this kind of help if it wasnt greatly needed. I have a Aunt. Her name is Annett Dowley. She has two wonderful daughters, Tasheena and Chyanne. They are sweet gils. She is married to Marty Dowley. He is a great man and when he was well he treated her wonderful. About three years ago Marty started having problems. He was having symptoms like loss of memory and he started acting like a kid. No one new what the problem was but it continued to get worse. Three years later we got test results back. The problem was MS. The weard thing is that MS usually attacts your body and in Martys case it atacted his brain. The family lives in an old home, it is very small. Right now Annett is the only one working and now trying to support her two kids and a husband that is very sick and needing lots of medical attention. She had decited that she was going to put him in a rest home, but after months of prayer she thinks that god is telling her not to. Maybe cause you guys could help her with a home so she could do it. Annett is a very strong independent woman. She is a hard worker and would do anything for anybody. She is a angel. I know that she is trying to hold it together for her children. They are both in their teens and she wants for them to live a normal life. Annett knows what it is like to have a sick father. He dad had very bad diabietis. He was so sick he had to be carried from place to place. She came from a big family and learned early that you have to work hard in life. Her father passed away many years ago. We all miss him so much. She has never been a person with nice thing. EVER. She would never ask for help even if she needs it. I feel like her whole life has been taking care of other people. She never does anything for herself. I want so badly for her to have some happieness. I love her so much and feel there is nothing i can do to make this better for her. Maybe with your help we can bring happieness to thier family. PLEASE help us. I have a husband who is an electrician and he would help you. We live in Utah and she has many friends and family who would offer what ever help that we could. please please. Thanks for reading this. First and foremost my mother means the world to my family and myself. I’m not going say that my mother is terminally ill to try to receive this special offering, but i feel that she needs, wants, and deserves it. My name is YuVonka Stephens-Banks and my mother is Velma Williams. For so long my mother has been looking out for everyone else problems and best interest, but her very own. I can go back to when i was a young girl living in North Carolina before we moved to Washington D.C., my mother was single going to work at Fort Bragg Military Base working in the mess hall, while going to Fayetteville State University, and attending church at least three times a week, and taking care of six children on her own, wow what a prayer soldier she was and still is. My mother now resides in Temple Hills Maryland and has been a teacher for D.C. Public Schools for 20 years and she was recently ordain to be a minister in 2008 at Heavens Best Ministries in Clinton, Maryland. My mother still haven’t changed her ways. She takes care of herself,her brother, my grandmother before she passed, three grandchildren,two dogs, sometimes her children when needed, children in her school that are without the proper guidance. My mother works in her schools after school programs, she’s part of the youth ministries at her church, she drops everything she has to do to drive 500 miles to make sure her sister or even just anyone in her heart or mind that’s not doing fine, or that’s sick to comfort them and pray for them. That’s what i love and respect about her she’s not self, but everyone else. My mother home needs a makeover so bad, not not saying it’s the worst, but there is allot that needs to be fixed and remodeled. Her plumbing is bad, along with her garage that she used for shelter in the winter for her pets, it’s needs to be gutted out the smell of pet has absorbed into the walls and floor interior, she also uses it as a storage room instead of car garage, it could use a good painting inside and out,there are some electrical problems also, the back and front yards need to be fixed, the list goes on. My family and i wish we could help her financially, but we also have are issues to. All i want is for my mother to be happy and proud of what she worked so hard to get, it’s her castle and she deserves to be treated like a queen that she is. There is so much more i can say and the list can go on, but i will stop at this point and thank you for this opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings. God bless you from a thankful daughter.

Hi my name is Sheryl I am from Medicine hat Alberta and my boyfriends grandma, who is a foster parent of 5 kids does not have enough room for all of them to live properly. As much as she tried to clean up she cant theres just not enough space for everyone. She is around 70 years old and doesnt want to give the kids up for the world. There just is not enough room for 4 young boys and 1 girl plus the grandmother and the boyfriend. She cant keep up with them at all and needs more space. The house that they are in is horrible between the kids not cleaning up properly to the animals. She tries so hard to provide for those kids but she cant keep up there all in the house making mess as she is cleaning and even though there is a basment she needs help. If anyone deserves it its her she does so much for those kids and I just wish there is something we could do to help and this is what I thought of cause she needs it.

hello my name is jason and my soon to be wife is tracey i have never mett somone like her she is 33 years old and sence she was 21 she has been verry sick she had a open heart sergery and a kiddney transplantand now she is on the list to get another kidney after her otherone stoped working after 5 years now she goes to dialisis 3 times a week and get her blood and fluid filterd and draind her work is 45 minnits away and her latley she as been to sick to go she baught this home to start a new life but it has a lot of flaws and after her next transplant she is going to have to be in a clean inviroment she cant even go to a public pool or swim in any lakes and shelove swimming tracey has the biggist heart in the worl wene would like to adopt a kid after we get married because its not safe for her to have one but we need to get a biger home or at least a more cleaner one it looks clean from looking at it but it needs a new roof the bricks on the out side seem to be a littel unstabel and the floors creek i dont know much about homes or how safe this one is but please help tracey get her dream home she deserves it if she could work 40 hours a week and never got sick like she did she would not need help but her health took over her life and she is a good wommen she has so much life in her just try to sit down and lissen to what she has been through and tell me she aint a strong person please help tracy out love jason

Hello!I dont know if you will read this or just toss it aside.I am writing to you because my moms home needs your help.She is 48 and cant barely move.Her husband has tried to do some renovations ,but they haven’t worked.Dont get me wrong my mother is a heavy set woman and I think it pains her more than anything not being able to move around in her own home.She suffers from alot of medical isssues and retais alot of water .That is the reason for her not moving.The medical has given her a moterized scooter ,but her house isnt wide enough to use it in.They don’t have that much money to do the renovations by themselves ,and I am a mother to my kids barely making it by.My four younger siblings live there and are two tired of sharing rooms.The reason why I am writing to you is really for my mom.She has had 11 of us kids and has always helped us when we needed her and continues to.But it hurts me when she cant even cook on her stove because there isnt enough room for her to use her scooter in there.And it brings tears to my eyes that on any holiday she sits in the same corner of the kitchen table .I understand that you all get millions of request daily, and my mom might not be chosen and I am just grateful for being considered.I just want to do something for her.

Well to start things off my parents and us witch would be me Ashley,my brother Brian,and my brother Nick that had just passed away Aug 1,2008 and is very sadly missed… We have all lived in this house for 19 years but now me and my other brother are moved out and it is only my parents that live in a 5 bedroom house and they are thinking about sellin but it never will cuz my brother had passed awway in it and it needs to be “fixed” in a bad way!! I really think if it was fixed up and and redone over they would stay in are family home and injoy it!!! The sad part is they don’tt have enough to do all that only enough to keep them going… and enother thing is,is that they cant even go down starts to do the wash cuz that is where everything happened with my brother….I would really love for you guys to come to p.e.i to help my family!!!!!!!
