No Rhinebeck for me this year! =(
I went to Toronto instead and spent all of my yarn and fiber budget. But I got some really nice stuff to knit socks… Handmaiden, Fleece Artist, Koigu…
How I did it: I went with my parents and my daughter. We drove. I've been wanting to go for a few years now, but never had a steady enough job to feel comfortable going and spending money on yarn and yarn books.
Lessons & tips: Wear a hand knitted object. I didn't and felt like a slacker. (even though the reason why I don't have any hand knitted objects is because I give most of what I make away.)

I did not plan ahead to go this year, but next year it is definately my top priority. I knit socks and will be needing to replenish my sock yarn stash.

My new job hasn’t paid me yet and I need all of my cash to pay for gas to get to class.
Hah, that almost rhymes.
fantastic wines and cheeses and of course wool, roving, and plenty of other things to see and do.
