read the whole Bible

Reading the whole bible is something that i will find very useful and mostly interesting. I’m not supposed to do it for religion reasons, I want to do it because it amazes me that so much things we do and we think and all the myths and phrases in a lot of languages that come from this book. Specially in my culture (I’m mexican) it is very important to know the content and meaning of the bible to have some explanations about things that happened through history to my country, among other reasons, like what i’ve heard about it. Also I’m sure i will find a lot of useful things that will help me to live better for it is knowledge a lot of people has applied.

Any christian im sure is interested in reading the whole bible!! it’s the awesome words of God and stories of inspiration. I know a lot of people who have read the whole bible not only once but several times and thats so great too me!! one day i will get through the whole bible and if the day comes before i get a chance too i will know all about it one day and i cant wait!!

I’m only 20 chapters into Genesis—at list rate it’s take years for me to finish. I’m going to have to step it up a bit.

I started with Genesis today. I wonder how long this will take me?

So I read the Bible, but I don’t do it because I feel I have to but because I want to. Every time it up nI fall more and more in Love with the God who created me and the Son of Man who gave His life for me. And I will continue to fall more and more in love with Him everyday of my life

I was raised in an Irish Roman Catholic family. I don’t think one of them has EVER read the whole bible. I do not consider myself Catholic anymore. There are just too many gaps in what I was taught. This religion was forces upon me as a child, and was not my own realization. Which is what I believe religion should be.

This has been a goal of mine for years. I plan on getting to it this year. But I’m not sure when I will start yet. I’m hoping that, if anything, it will help me understand my boyfriend’s faith more.

I tried doing this in the beginning of the year but that didn’t work out. But I realized I don’t need a new year to read the bible. =]

I have started reading Joyce Meyers 21 ways to find peace and happiness, so this has encourgaged me to read the bible. I felt ashamed because I had not pulled the bible out in a long time and I know better. But as time moves foward I will complete my goal and read the entire bible

I astarted on the first af January!!
My home is reading the whole Bible so I decide to participate ..they give a calender every months that has the scripture to read for the day and so far it is working ..I also keep a Journal while I read to write things that stands out ..like my favorite verse or ,.something that speaks to me ….and I hope to follow that through the year!! with help of God.
