live in Greece

Signed up for the Greece Tour offered by the University of Augustana/University of Alberta! : )

It is an academic tour, so we’ll be heading to a lot of sanctuaries, hellenistic & classical sites and museums!

I CAN’T WAIT!!

I plan to do an archaeological dig in Greece at the end of my bachelor’s degree.

I am currently living in Athens on a side of town where there are not that many expats and what might be labelled working class. 6 months in and jobs are hard to come by and so is making local friends. I am finding it difficult and not at all the dream I had wished it to be… It has crushed my spirit, the culture and the way they baby their older children (YES I know a mum who makes his 34 year old son coffee and biscuits for breakfast) and still irons his underwear…The government (any of the political parties) do not care for its people… The only time you want to live in Greece is if you live on an island away from all the B.S!

I always found Greece so special and unique in pictures,I have been on crete and that was amazing now I want to go to the main land :D

Greece is absolutely beautiful and I am going to live there one day. I must actually start by getting a job, yes, this would be helpful. I made my first escape moving about 400 miles from my origination. One day will be soon.

Lived in Hersonissos in Crete just off the main strip for about 5 or 6 months last year…although I enjoyed it I would have preferred if I had been cut off from tzatziki for my entire stay…that stuff is addictive!!

I’d like to live in Santorini by the sea. I don’t want to live in a huge or fancy house. I want something small but cozy..

I’ll settle for visiting, someday.

Im english but i came to greece 4 years ago and now i am a permenant resident im getting married to my greek fiancee this year and im living in Thessaloniki the second capital of greece near the mountains

There is nothing like Greece, the sea, the food, the pace of life and the Greek language!!!
