buy a folding bike

Im giving up on this for a little while. Its going to be a while before I pay off the bills I want to pay off.

This has been on the list for a while, but now I am rethinking it. I did only want a bike for commuting, and space in the apartment and the bike shed is limited, but i think now that I want to be able to ride the bike long distances, and folding bikes arent really built for this. I dont mind paying a lot of money for a folding bike that can be used for treks, its just going to take a while for me to save the money up for an expensive bike. I am hoping to run into someone that has one that I can ask in person what they think and do a little more research into the capabilities of folding bikes.

I found this site that provides information and testing results on a huge number of bikes available.
