start acting again.

Have been in many indie films but have not done anything in the last year. Have to get back out there!!!!!

I’m sort of wishing on a dead butterfly in a corroding river to act again. I love the feel of being plunged into a new world, a new perspective and attitude. It’s a nice change, and I’d love to get back into it.

I haven’t been on stage since high school. I was on the DDF team (drama, debate, and forensics). I miss acting and cant rememeber the last time I felt as free and I do when I am on stage. The drama association in town is puting on “Oklahoma” and I am going to try out. I will make time for it and pitch in on the set if I don’t make it. I am excited.

When I looked this up under ‘tags’ a lot of things came up stating ‘I want to be famous”, “Become a famous actress”, “Be in a movie”.

I used to want that, back when I was active in theater.

Now, I just want to act. Community theater, church productions, whatever…so long as I can do it for the love of it, not with the goal of gaining admiration and fame. I guess I just needed to be more secure in who I was to get over that ambition. I want to act again…I just have to make the time.

I’m going to try, darn it.
